First interviewee: Svetoslava Babacheva, fan of psychological thrillers:
“I like psychological thrillers because firstly, they are a mysterious and enigmatic genre, which I find interesting by default. Then, those kinds of movies always keep you at the edge of your seat and they make you think about things that normally wouldn’t occupy your mind. Moreover, the main character is usually the mind of a person and that’s why it’s always really complicated – that’s how a person’s mind is like. And finally, psychological thrillers usually relate to deep personality issues that are being resolved and through their resolution we can understand the complexity of a certain situation, put ourselves into that position and uncover the mysteries of the human mind.
What I don't like about psychological thrillers is that in trying to be original, sometimes they go way too far into fantasy or sci-fi and contain too many fantastic elements. I like thrillers that stick more to reality, rather than explore possibilities that seem improbable."Labels: tasks |
